Oh G-d I'm truly going insane over Interview with the Vampire (2022). Just finished watching episode 4. First of all: Claudia is so me. The hundred diaries, the hormones, the attitude... I love her character and I think Bailey Bass did an excellent job.

Second: I NEED MORE. NOW.

Third: Jacob Anderson continues to astound me. I never saw GoT but fr they let him stand in the shadows for ten years on that show??? When he's capable of this??? His acting is so *chefs kiss* I can't stand it. The way his voice catches when Claudia's dying and he wants Lestat to save her...........arghhhhhhh

I watched the whole episode giggling with glee and then rewound it and watched it all over again.

Fourth: Imagine getting banned from social media for saying what Louis du Pointe du Lac did to Daniel Molloy / What did he do to Daniel Molloy / He fucked that old man

Fifth: "Claudia are you blocking me? This is your father speaking" SCREAMING

I'm obsessed with this show and I can't BELIEVE there are only two (two??? two!!!) episodes left before we have to wait 1.5-3 business years for the next season. BULL FUCKING SHIT.

I love it I love it I love it go watch it right now.

Quit all social media this summer but now Interview with the Vampire's come out and I wish I could scream about it with someone! Augh!
Then I remembered I had this dreamwidth, so if anyone's listening, here's what's new with me.

Books
Recently read American Gods by Neil Gaiman, re-read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, and devoured The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. Currently working on the sequel to The Sparrow, called Children of God. Personally I think the sequel doesn't fully live up to the original's incredible voice and story, but ymmv. Also just started What Mrs. McGillicuddy Saw! by Agatha Christie for a nice little comfort read during meals.

Television
Rewatched Agent Carter, then rewatched the ending scene of Daniel and Peggy at LEAST 15 times. It drives me insaaaaane.
And I watched the first 3 episodes of Interview with the Vampire last night (on AMC I think--that's not where I saw it though) and went off the wall bonkers. Holy shit. As I recounted to a friend: "this show's got everything: gay sex, vampirism as a metaphor for gay sex, pretty accents, pretty actors, THEE confession scene of all time, unreliable narrators, metacommentary, gay sex, sword cane, and most of all, Jacob Anderson's #acting."
Earlier this month, was working through Tennant's seasons of Doctor Who, but it appears I've gotten a little side-tracked.

Movies
Horror for Halloween!
And I wanted to rewatch CA:TWS soon, so lookout for a Stevebucky fic resurgence in my AO3 bookmarks

Music
Red Comes in Many Shades - U.S. Girls
Cigar - Tamino
Dancing in the Moonlight - King Harvest
San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair) - Scott McKenzie

Fandom
Reading: I overdosed on Agent Carter fics. See here.
Writing: Going to post a wiplist in a few mins, stay tuned!

That's all, folks.
